Gosford Fleet has enjoyed close racing from the six to eight competitors out each week. Finishes on scratch and handicap have been tight.

The Club Championship is being led by Huh? (Michael Law, Bruce Tennant and John Humphries), with Pointless (John McDougall, David Slingsby and Mark Robson) a close second.

Most Fastest Times is being led by Huh? (9), with Pointless second (8) and Daylight third. Season Handicap is being led by Curved Air (George Johnstone, Mark Thomson and Greg Bell), with Pointless in second place, and Huh? occupying third.

In January, two of our boats contested a joint race day with the Pittwater Fleet in their offshore series to get some practice in sailing in bumps. The Pittwater Fleet turned on a great North East seabreeze and tight racing. On the return journey, the boats found out just how shallow the entrance to Brisbane Waters currently is, with a keel sanding when they met a ferry mid channel.

A number of the Fleet are intending to contest the NSW State Titles in February.
