Flat water and negligible tidal influence. The uncluttered waters and summer seabreezes characteristic of Australia's largest saltwater coastal provide the ideal conditions to maximise the enjoyment of sailing an International Etchells yacht. Sailing from the Lake Macquarie Yacht Club, Belmont Bay, two races are held most Saturday afternoons between September and April.
